CGA calls for carbon dioxide detectors in restaurants.

The Compressed Gas Association (CGA) has called for carbon dioxide detectors with alarm systems to be installed in all restaurants and hospitality venues where carbonated beverage systems are used. The safety alert follows a number of incidents where leaking carbon dioxide (CO2) has caused injury or death. It was issued on February 17, 2012, by the Compressed Gas Association based in Chantilly, VA, and is freely available from their website.
